Lately I’ve had a lot of Father’s love moments in my interactions with Thomas. Just the other day Thomas was holding a small flashlight. He announces “I’m going to turn it on, daddy turn it on for me”. There wasn’t a moment of hesitation between “I’m going to” and “daddy do it”. As I turned on the light for my son, my heart felt a deep delight. I felt like Father was demonstrating a child’s faith and also showing my heart the sheer delight Father has to grant the desires of my heart without my effort to make them happen.
